Monica and I have been online friends for quite some time and when she came to visit Los Angeles with her cousin Natalia, we HAD to meet up to shoot. The funny thing about friendships that start off online is how special it is when you guys finally meet in person. We take for granted our physical friendships because we get to be in their presence as often as our schedule allows us, but when its long distance, it feels even more special when you get to spend time with them.
Since they stayed relatively close to the west side of LA, we decided to shoot over in Melrose Place. As you guys know, I LOVEEEEE shooting here. There is so much variety in architecture, backdrops, and locations. Whenever I need a diverse set of locations to shoot anyone in, this is my go to place.
Asides from the lush greenery, Alfred Tea House is another great location nearby. We also made our way into the neighborhoods nearby to shoot on some apartment entrances, and pretty doorways.
Since its one of the few times they’ll be able to visit LA, I took them to my favorite thing to get in LA, AYCE KBBQ. Jjukku Jjukku is one of my F A V O R I T E spots in Ktown when I don’t mind spending a little extra cash for top quality AYCE. I didnt take any pics because I wanted to spend some quality time with them but rest assured, a KBBQ post is gonna go live on this blog someday~
